Hello, I'm Giulia. Born in Sicily, I've traveled to almost every continent and had diverse experiences. I've been a writer for most of my life; I started studying coding in 2020. I have a very eclectic life, with roles ranging from teacher to sailor. I'm also an ethnomusicologist, and my books often draw on ethnographic research and anthropological literature that broadens my perspective and inspires me. My interest in tech has also influenced my humanities studies, as seen in my PhD research on videogames and social networks, where I combine social studies, game studies, and anthropology. As someone who enjoys building and repairing things, I found coding satisfying and opened a new path in my life. I'm also a tour guide, entitled to work in 2 states: I handcraft my tours and products in Sicily and Canary islands. As Language Solutions Expert I do Translations, Transcriptions, Voice-Over Services, Italian, English and Spanish courses. My dreams include selling my home-made liqueur worldwide, building a boat, having an orchard, and befriending a donkey and a goat.
